Security, privacy and how the AI is used

Your job notes are your business — customer names, addresses, prices. This page explains in plain language what TradieCue does with them, what it doesn't, and where the formal policies live.

The short version

What the AI sees, and why

When you give Timmy a note, the audio is transcribed and the text is interpreted by hosted AI services so it can be turned into a draft. That's the product working as described, and the app tells you so up front. You choose what to enter: if you don't want something processed, don't put it in a note.

When an important detail is missing (a price, a customer, a scope item), Timmy asks rather than making it up. That isn't just a quality feature — it's a safety one. Paperwork built on invented details is worse than no paperwork.

Human review on everything

Generated documents are drafts to review — not legal, accounting or tax advice. Every draft opens as an editable preview, and you are the only one who can share it. There is no background sending, no auto-email, no "agent" acting on your behalf. More on this design choice: human-reviewed AI.

Data location and third parties

Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia. Third-party services are used for hosting, AI, voice transcription and app functionality; crash diagnostics, when enabled, are processed by Sentry. The privacy policy lists the categories in full.

Deleting your data

Account deletion and data export paths are available in the app under Settings, and via support@flowneticconsulting.com. Deletion covers hosted business records, voice notes, attachments and AI request data where legally permitted.

What we deliberately don't claim

You'll see security pages elsewhere stacked with badges. We only publish what we can stand behind, so to be explicit: we do not currently claim SOC 2 or ISO certification, guaranteed Australian data residency, or end-to-end encryption. If any of that becomes true and audited, it'll be stated here with dates.

Generated documents are drafts for your review — not legal, accounting or tax advice. You're responsible for checking facts, scope and amounts before sending anything to a customer.

The formal documents

The binding versions live at Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. TradieCue is operated by Flownetic Consulting (FLOWNETIC CONSULTING PTY LTD).

Common questions

Is my data used to train AI models?

We don't publish a blanket claim either way, because hosted AI providers' terms govern parts of this. What we can say plainly: you choose what goes into notes, the AI use is disclosed in-app, and deletion/export paths exist. Read the privacy policy for the specifics.

Where is my data stored?

Job records live in the app on your phone, with cloud backup for subscribers. Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia — the privacy policy covers this.

Can TradieCue message my customers?

No. Nothing is sent automatically. You share every document yourself, from your own channels.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → account deletion. Or email support@flowneticconsulting.com and support will process it.
